Our next Learning Expedition « Into the Digital World » takes place on September 17 and 18, in Amsterdam.
Its main objective is to contribute to prepare top corporate leaders to integrate the new digital dimension and be able to catch its opportunities, for themselves or for their companies. Your participation is welcome.
The Digital World is not limited to Facebook and social networks… it is a complete change in the way we buy, interact, make business, design a « product », see the customer, be informed and inform or light… It is not an evolution from « this » to « that ». It is another way of seeing the world, a shift in the perspective. For example, yesterday you, as a customer, chose and bought a car. Today you can contribute – upstream – to design the car and manage it – downstream – through excess capacity management. Is it always a « customer »? And a « car »?
Here we are, at the dawn of the 3rd Industrial Revolution. The 1st one was born with steam and coal, the 2d one with electricity and oil and this one with information technology and digitalization. Would you prefer to watch it passing or be on board? Some preparation is needed to be on board: understanding what is at stake, where are the issues and changing one’s mindset, one’s way of envisaging the things.
That is exactly what you can find with the small group of corporate leaders of the Learning Expedition « Into the Digital World ». Day 1 is the Deep Dive into this new world. You are plunged into a digital event gathering more than 500 people around geeks, keynote speakers and pioneers of the digital world. You experience this new connected world and discover its key concepts and ideas. You attend or exchange with key actors Day 2 is dedicated to putting that into perspective and bringing you inputs and methods. Next September, we will work on « Digital Business Models » or « Leading through Digital » among other topics.
